3rd ECSCI Workshop on Critical Infrastructure Protection and Resilience
The 3rd ECSCI (European Cluster for Securing Critical Infrastructures) Workshop on Critical Infrastructure Protection and Resilience will take place on 29–30 April 2025 at Tecnalia in Bilbao, Spain, with the option to participate online.
As modern Critical Infrastructures (CIs) become more complex, interconnected, and interdependent across sectors like energy, transport, water, healthcare, finance, space, and public administration, they are increasingly exposed to advanced cyber-physical threats. These attacks are growing in scope and sophistication, making it difficult to predict and mitigate their full impact. Addressing cybersecurity and physical security separately is no longer viable. What’s needed are integrated approaches that consider their interdependencies and the potential for cascading effects across systems.
This high-level workshop brings together leading experts, innovators, and policymakers from across Europe to explore these challenges and advance collaborative solutions for CI resilience. Participants will gain insights from the ECSCI cluster’s work, including state-of-the-art research and technologies such as AI for resilience, IoT security, distributed ledger technologies for secure data sharing, and automated threat detection and response.
Who should attend
CISOs, CIOs, CERTs, CSIRTs, CSOs, security professionals, researchers, and public sector stakeholders.
