8th NMIOTC Conference on Cybersecurity in the Maritime Domain 2024

18 September 2024 09:00 – 19 September 2024 18:00

The 8th NMIOTC Conference on Cyber Security in the Maritime Domain will take place on September 18–19, 2024, in Chania, Crete, Greece, at the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre premises.

Every year in September, the NMIOTC Cybersecurity Conference focuses on addressing current and emerging cyber threats in the maritime environment. This event fosters collaboration among researchers, practitioners, navy staff, academia, shipping companies, standardisation bodies, government departments, international organisations, and both the public and private sectors.

The conference aims to explore the latest trends in maritime cybersecurity threats and provide guidance on countering these evolving and complex challenges. Attendees will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding, discuss critical issues, and promote collaborative efforts across various sectors to enhance cybersecurity and cyber defence operations in the maritime domain.

This year, the NERO team from Trustilio (Kitty Kioskli and Paresh Rathod) and the University of Piraeus Research Centre (UPRC)(Ninenta Polemi and Dimitris Koutras) will be attending the conference, representing NERO at this event.
