Cyber Awareness & Upskilling for SMEs Webinar

12 May 2026 10:00–11:30

NERO is pleased to announce that Charalambos Klitis, R&D Senior Project Manager at eBOS Technologies Ltd, will represent the project at the webinar Cyber Awareness & Upskilling for SMEs: Bridging the Non-Technical Skills Gap, organised by the CyberSuite project.

The webinar will take place on 12 May 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST, and will bring together experts and initiatives focused on strengthening cybersecurity awareness and skills for SMEs.

This webinar will address the growing cybersecurity skills gap among SMEs by focusing on practical, non-technical approaches to awareness and upskilling. Through the joint contributions of CyberSuite and NERO, the session will present accessible training opportunities, including the CyberSuite Academy and cyber range exercises, designed to help organisations build essential cybersecurity knowledge and capabilities.

Participants will gain insights into how these tools support workforce upskilling and organisational readiness, while being encouraged to engage with the CyberSuite training ecosystem and available learning resources. The session is open to all interested parties, including SME representatives, professionals, researchers, and stakeholders seeking to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and skills.

During the session, Charalambos Klitis will deliver a presentation titled “Cyber Awareness for SMEs: Challenges & Practical Approaches (NERO Perspective)”, highlighting key challenges faced by SMEs and sharing practical insights and approaches developed within the NERO project.
