EXTERNAL EVENT

European Cybersecurity Skills Conference 2026

4 March 2026 09:00 – 5 March 2026 16:00

We are excited to share that the NERO project team, represented by Trustilio, took part in the 4th edition of the European Cybersecurity Skills Conference, organised by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the Digital Security Authority of Cyprus, and co-organised with the Cyprus Presidency of the EU Council, in Larnaca, Cyprus, from 4–5 March 2026.

The conference brought together cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, training providers, and stakeholders from across Europe to exchange experiences, address challenges, and share best practices in building cybersecurity skills and competences.

As part of the event, the NERO team engaged with the broader cybersecurity skills community, exploring how innovative training frameworks and practical tools can help close the cybersecurity skills gap affecting European organisations—especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The NERO project actively promotes the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF) by integrating it into training, capacity-building, and stakeholder engagement. By aligning education and workforce strategies with the ECSF, NERO helps unify understanding of cybersecurity roles and required competencies, strengthening Europe’s cybersecurity skills ecosystem.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with ENISA and other partners to further strengthen cybersecurity awareness, education, and workforce development across Europe.

Stay tuned and visit ENISA’s page for more updates.
