NERO Project Participation in CAELESTIS Cybersecurity Workshop
The NERO project is collaborating with the CAELESTIS and HERMES projects for an online event titled “CAELESTIS Cybersecurity Workshop,” taking place on 2 October 2024 from 11:00 to 12:30 CEST.
The workshop will feature a session on “PRESS Framework Analysis: Enhancing Design and Manufacturing through Privacy, Ethics, and Security in the CAELESTIS Aerospace Simulation Ecosystem.” This session is aligned with one of NERO’s key use cases focused on transport and logistics. Together, NERO and CAELESTIS are dedicated to encouraging SMEs in these sectors to embrace innovative cybersecurity solutions and to highlight just how vital cybersecurity is in our interconnected world.
As part of Horizon Europe, CAELESTIS is all about developing cutting-edge AI-assisted methods to speed up the creation of lighter, low-emission aircraft. This work is essential for helping Europe meet its 2050 Net Zero goals. By weaving cybersecurity considerations into its framework and offering practical recommendations, CAELESTIS ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the digital infrastructure that supports its operations and complements NERO's objectives.
During the workshop, we’ll explore various cybersecurity solutions specifically designed for the manufacturing sector, especially in transportation. We’ll also introduce best practices that industry players can adopt to boost their cybersecurity measures.
