ENISA Launches EU-Wide Survey on the State of SBOM Adoption
13, November, 2025
The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) is inviting organisations and industry professionals to take part in its new survey on the state of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) adoption.
The survey supports the European Commission’s work to implement the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). It aims to understand how SBOMs are being used across sectors — including adoption levels, formats, tools, challenges, and perceived value.
The survey takes about 20–25 minutes and includes both multiple-choice and open-ended questions. All responses are confidential. Some questions draw on the Linux Foundation’s SBOM and Cybersecurity Readiness Report (2022).
Feedback collected through this initiative will play a key role in shaping future EU cybersecurity policies and guidance. The survey remains open until 19 December 2025.
