NERO Calls on SMEs to Join Free Hands-On Cybersecurity Training Series

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Europe are invited to take part in NERO’s free Hands-On Cybersecurity Training Series — an engaging and practical learning experience designed to help businesses strengthen their defences against ever-evolving cyber threats.
The series kicks off on 26 November 2025 and runs through 19 January 2026, featuring three interactive online sessions that blend expert insights, real-world exercises, and open discussions. Participants will walk away with practical cybersecurity skills they can immediately apply within their organisations — turning awareness into action.
About the Training Series
The Hands-On Cybersecurity Training Series for SMEs includes three 90-minute online sessions, each tailored to real-world business needs and designed to help teams build practical, lasting cybersecurity competence.
Session 1: Building Cybersecurity Awareness and Defence Foundations for SMEs

Learn the fundamentals of cybersecurity, discover common attack vectors, and explore concrete steps to recognise and manage cyber incidents.
Session 2: Advanced Threat Detection and Privacy Protection for SMEs
🗓️ 3 December 2025 | 10:00–11:30 CET
Dive deeper into network security, intrusion detection, and privacy tools to help your organisation stay one step ahead of potential threats.
Session 3: Immersive and Gamified Cybersecurity Practices for SMEs
🗓️ 19 January 2026 | 10:00–11:30 CET
Experience cybersecurity in action through interactive simulations, gamified exercises, and practical data protection techniques.
Each session offers concise expert presentations, live demonstrations, and engaging discussions that make learning both useful and enjoyable.
