Human Factors and Cybersecurity in NHS Virtual Wards

The rapid evolution of healthcare technology, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, has seen a significant rise in the set-up and expansion of Virtual Wards by the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom. Virtual wards (also known as hospital@home) allow patients to get hospital-level care at home safely and in familiar surroundings, helping speed up their recovery while freeing up hospital beds for patients who need them most.
