OneSource Highlights NERO’s Role in Advancing Cybersecurity Awareness at Aveiro Tech Week

OneSource recently presented NERO during Aveiro Tech Week, during the “Towards 6G and Societal Examples” workshop in Aveiro, Portugal. The event brought together researchers, innovators, and industry experts to explore how emerging 6G technologies can shape our society — featuring insightful keynotes and live demonstrations from some of Europe’s most forward-thinking projects.

The workshop gathered several Smart Networks and Services (SNS) projects, such as 6G-VERSUS, 6G-PATH, and RIGOUROUS, along with Horizon Europe initiatives like MIRANDA and 5G-HUB, and Portuguese projects funded through PT2030, including FireSys and ForestSphere.

During the event, OneSource showcased DeepGuardian, a key component of the NERO project, which serves as a training platform designed to enhance cybersecurity awareness and best practices among SMEs. The team also presented NERO Marketplace, highlighting its unique role as a centralised platform where companies and institutions can easily identify and access the most suitable cybersecurity tools and training resources to address their specific needs and requirements.
